I prefer the browser over category view so it's a bug that didn't affect me, but it's an issue worth noting to those that are interested in the FiiO X1 to tell them to upgrade to the latest firmware.

The only issue I'm having with the latest firmware and I've mentioned it before is the hiding duplicate entries in external m3u playlists.  I prefer this to honestly be more of toggle on and off thing rather than forced without an option.  I do apologize for repeating myself here.  I like to know why it was implented the way it was or if it's a bug itself.  Using a genuine SanDisk 128 GB SD card formatted with FAT32 in the X1 itself.

Hi， SoundMan, is your playlist made in CUE file? If so, it can't support. In fact, i don't understand well with the issue. Maybe you could try to remake the playlist.

It's made in .m3u format.

Thanks for reminding me. I know he is M3U-playlists. One guy responsed the same issue to us. He made the playlist for his cue file. That is why i want to make sure.

I think in this case renaming the tracks within the different disk-folder should help enough.

I was thinking that, but I think it should be fixed if something was broke.  Of course things can get complicated quick when it comes to a file management standpoint especially since this uploaded file covers the one album, multiple disk suitation.  Sometimes multiple albums are grouped by the fact they share the same movie/game/TV show but were seperate multi-disk releases themselves which has different playlist cue for that.

Hi, yes, i find out this issue. I ask the software engineer, he says they changed it in 1.5 version. He  consider that the same tracks is useless. It cuts the same track in playlist automatically. I think the engineer didn't realize the same track is useful to customer.

Thanks for finding out.  In my personal experience in dealing with audio players is that stuff that can modify or change how something plays is best left as option that can be switched on and off.  I'll being waiting patiently for firmware 1.6 to resolve it.  I appreciate the fast response.

Hello. Is anybody facing the 'performance' problems with the firmware 1.5? Browsing files is significantly slower than with 1.3 and also changing the track by using the volume up/down buttons with locked screen is not so fast as in 1.3.

I'm running FW 1.5 but didn't notice any lagging. Everything is working fine. But I'm coming from FW 1.4 as it was installed when I bought my X1. Maybe there is an issue upgrading from 1.3.

Hi, Wojciech, in fact, 1.3 is nearly the same as 1.4. We used the 1.4 to solve some issues during producing. That is why we didn't release it. I think there are two many songs in Krehy's sd card. It wastes time to get the large data. We will record this issue, anyway.

You right Fiio. It might be reason as well. I was just guessing, but what you say makes more sense Too many songs or not a good sd card.

Just put 17K songs on a genuine SanDisk ULTRA 128GB card it took about 30 mins to update. Coming straight from 1.3 I have no problems, no lag browsing/playing and super quick when using vol up/down to skip with screen locked.

Hi, team-muz, limited by the RAM inside x1, if there are too many songs to update, it will be slow. That is why we set the limit before. It is suggested to format your sd card to FAT32. This format is compatible well with x1 and may be a little fast. Anyway, there may be many issues in this firmware. We will record customers' responsed and try to fix it in next version.
