Hello,

I was wondering about one thing - after upgrading my FW to 1.5 on my X1 the "Idle poweroff" feature started to get crazy. It turns my player off after the fixed period of time maybe once per 5-10 times and I have no idea what is the reaosn of that but it surely happened after the upgrade. Can someone check if you can recreate that effect on any other X1?

Hi, Yoshi, sorry to reply so late. Did you set the 'Sleep' to 'on'? As you said that you set it to 3 minutes, then set it to 1 minute, did it turn off automatically after? Any detailed information about this issue will be appreciated.

Hey

I never used the sleep feature since I don't need it. I simply forget to turn off the player when I go somehwhere and in previous FW the "idle poweroff" feature worked perfect... Now no matter what time I set it wont turn the player off. Sometimes when I change the "idle poweroff time" it works few times, after that it wont turn off again. If you need any specific info let me know, but there is not much to add

@Yellow - I was reffering to 1.6 already in last post. Try messing around with the settings of your X1 with the idle poweroff thingy and you will see it's still not working. I'm using FW 1.6 for quite some time now, have formatted my Toshiba Class10 card, recorded music again, then reinstalled 1.6 once again and it still doesnt work properly

Well... that's a pretty important feature for me. I really dont like the idea to have a flawed product I think more people might have this issue on their X1 but they simply dont use this feature so to confirm this please everyone who is reading this check out if your "idle poweroff" feature works proerly on your X1. If not please post here so we can see if thats in a bigger scale.

looks like either people dont talk about it, or I'm just an unlucky bastard

good I didnt buy any more expensive player from FiiO, the warranty replacemnt policy is so weak - 60 days since the shipment takes a lot of time from middle euorpe to china. They have a distributor here in Poland but apparently they cant solve my problem. So professional

Hello,
I also would like to confirm this idle poweroff issue with X1 latest firmware 1.6.
Generally 1.6 is great firmware release, it resolved my previous problems with precision of click-wheel navigation and also X1 remembers last used directory etc. So I like it a lot, but idle poweroff doesn't work sometimes. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find some exact usage steps, when X1 fails to power off after some time of inactivity. Seems to be completely random to me. It gets pretty annoying, because I usually find, that battery is completely empty, when I want to use X1 and go somewhere outside..

Here are numbers of my X1:
SN:60030093050107 NB:V342b

Thanks in advance for resolution of this bug, then I will even happier user of X1..

Michal

Haha i got same problem dude and it looks like we are both from Poland judging by your name, so looks like FiiO had that "faulty" series of X1 released on europe, or we are just 2 unlucky noobs at first I thought it was only a firmware issue, but im starting to think it might be some hardware defect since there is only few reports on that bug and most people do fine with their X1 on 1.6... for me it was everything above 1.4 that caused the issue
