x5 3rd gen USB DAC driver for Windows 10

Hello,
I am having a problem installing the driver for the x5 3rd gen USB DAC function on Windows 10. I upgraded to the latest firmware (1.1.5) and installed the latest driver from the website (v3.34.0-161216update.zip), following the installation instructions.  The FiiO control panel installed, but the Fiio driver does not appear in the device manager; instead it the Fiio appears as a USB Composite Device and the following error message appears:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR


I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and restarting several times.  What can I do to fix this?

I did post a detailed explanation to your problem that I'm sure would have sorted you out, as I had exactly the same problem, now fixed.

You haven't been bothered to log on in over a week, so I deleted it.

Hello, here's the new driver for X5III and X7 working as DAC for computer. For any of you have the problem of that, please kindly uninstall the old driver and try the new driver here: http://x7pack.fiio.net/FiiO-USB-DAC-driver_EN-V4.11.0.zip
